
Courtney Hayes-Rainey is a native of Durham and a graduate of Riverside High School. She is the “hands-on” mother of three children that keep her active with their involvement in sports, chorus performances, and community service projects.
Ms. Hayes-Rainey received her Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina Central University. In the past, she has conducted self-management diabetes workshops and participated in health fairs throughout North Carolina. She discovered an interest in the law and obtained a Paralegal Certificate from Ashworth College. Ms. Hayes-Rainey has almost 10 years of experience in the legal field. She has strong customer service skills and provides a great listening ear for clients experiencing difficult circumstances. She is passionate about helping others and it shows in how she interacts with clients.
Ms. Hayes-Rainey also enjoys African dance and teaches and performs on a regular basis throughout the triangle area. She often dances with the African American Dance Ensemble and Harambé Collective, and at times performs with her mother, whom is one of the founding members of the African American Dance Ensemble. In addition to dance, Ms. Hayes-Rainey enjoys the art of braiding hair and using her creative energy to paint, design clothing, and decorate for events.

Cheryle Roberts is a native of Durham and attended Durham Public Schools and was involved in civil rights at an early age. Ms. Roberts attended Western Michigan University and Durham Technical Community College. Ms. Roberts joined Fludd Stephens Law Office, PLLC as a legal assistant after retiring from over 40 years of service with
Durham Housing Authority as a Certified Property Manager. Ms. Roberts has years of experience in people management and real estate, as a licensed broker. She serves as our on-site notary and is committed to helping others.
Ms. Roberts is a member of Mt. Calvery Missionary Baptist Church in Bahama, North Carolina, where she sings in the choir and is president of the usher board. Ms. Roberts is also very active in the community and serves the community in many organizations to include: Drucilla Chapter #19, Order of the Eastern Star, PHA; University Assembly #218, Order of the Golden Circle, PHA; Zafa Court #41, Daughters of the Imperial Court, Boyd & Hodge Court #2, Heroines of Jericho, PHA; and Athina Court #13, Ladies of the Circe of Perfection.
Ms. Roberts also enjoys traveling, and fellowshipping with friends and family.
